Return to the Source

A week here, in the place all of it came from. Not a programme delivered in a nice location — the life itself, lived alongside me for seven days.

Who this is for

It's for you if
  • You learn things by doing them somewhere, not by reading about them.
  • You want to feel what an unhurried day is actually like before trying to build one at home.
  • You're reasonably mobile — there are hills, heat, and a walk to the water.
  • You can be genuinely away for the week. Half-here doesn't work up the hill.
It isn't, if
  • You want a resort. This is a working homestead: simple rooms, cold showers some mornings, insects with opinions.
  • You need to stay reachable for work. Signal is thin, and that's the point.
  • You're hoping a week away will fix it. A week starts something; the year is what finishes it.
  • You're looking for help with a diagnosed condition. That belongs with your clinician.

The shape of a day

Days here are set by light rather than by a timetable, so the schedule is loose on purpose. There is always somewhere to be if you want it, and nothing you have to attend.

First light

Outside before the heat: sun on your face, water, and a slow walk. This one habit does more than anything else in the week.

Morning

Work on the land or in the kitchen, with one foundation taught as we go. Movement that has a reason, not a rep count.

Afternoon

The hottest hours are for rest, the water, or an hour with me one to one. Most people sleep in the afternoon by day three.

Evening

Cooking together, eating slowly, and dark that arrives properly. Fire some nights. Everyone sleeps earlier than they meant to.

Days one to two

Arriving, properly. Sleep comes back first, and it takes longer than people expect.

Days three to five

The foundations, in the place they came from. Food, light, movement, water, quiet.

Days six to seven

Taking it home: what of this survives your actual week, written down before you fly.

What's included

Seven nights here

Your own simple room on the homestead. Six guests, so it stays quiet.

Every meal

Grown here or bought from neighbours, cooked together. Tell me what you can't eat and it's handled.

Time one to one

Two private hours with me during the week, plus however much of the rest you want to spend alongside me.

Airport transfers

Collected and returned. The last part of the drive is not somewhere to arrive alone in the dark.

Twelve months of the app

Starting when you get home, built around what the week showed us.

A call a month later

When the glow has worn off and real life has had a go at it. This is where the week either holds or doesn't.

Not included: flights, travel insurance, and anything you buy off the mountain.

In their words

"For me, reconnecting spiritually meant remembering that my life is more than a to-do list. A little space to breathe and reflect has mattered more than I expected. I feel more connected to what I want my days to be about."

Olivia K.

"The spiritual side for me has been pretty simple: getting quiet enough to notice what feels meaningful again. I'd lost that in the constant rush."

Andre K.
The investment
$4,997

Everything on the ground included, for the seven days. A deposit holds your place, then monthly payments until a month before you travel.

If you're already working with me in Walk With Me, coming here is at cost instead.

Availability
Waitlist only, right now.

Dates to be announced. Weeks run in the drier months and only when six of the right people line up. Apply below and I'll write with dates as soon as one is forming, well before you'd need to book flights.

Nobody is put on a plane by a sales call. If the week isn't right for you, I'd rather say so now.

Apply for a place

Six people live alongside each other for a week, so who comes matters. Written answers, and I read every one myself.

Thanks — I'll answer within a few days, either way.

I answer within a few days, either way.

Before you ask

How do I get there, and do I need a visa?

Fly into Costa Rica and I collect you. Most nationalities enter visa-free as tourists for well over a week — check your own passport, and I'll send everything else you need once dates are set.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. A deposit holds the place, then monthly payments up to a month before you travel.

What if I have to cancel?

Within 30 days of booking, everything is refunded, deposit included. After that and up to a month before, everything but the deposit is returned. Inside a month the food and the room are already bought, so I can only move you to a later week. Take travel insurance.

Do I need the app first?

No — twelve months come with the week, starting when you get home rather than before you arrive.

How fit do I need to be?

Able to walk a few kilometres on uneven ground in heat. Nothing is compulsory, and there's always a slower version of the day.

Is this medical care, or a detox?

Neither. No fasting protocols, no cleanses, no ceremonies. I'm a coach, not a doctor, and I don't diagnose, treat or prescribe.
